rest, suddenly Sunday (June 25.
1972) at DeGraff Memorial
Hospital Mr. Bruning had
lived in the Tonawandas for
the past 42 years, and was a
member of St. Paul's Lutheran
Church, the Lutheran Laymans
League, International Union
of Operating Engineers, was a
World War I veteran of Germany,
and a retired employe
| of the DuPont (Rayon) Co.
His wife. A*nna. died in December
of 1964.
Beloved father of Eric E.
Bruning of North Tonawanda;
Mrs. Knute (Ella) Golde of
Buffalo and Ernest C. Bruning
of New Castle. Pa., brother
of Mrs. August Ftefir and Mrs.
Marie Gramzow both of Germany;
four grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren also
survive.
