Bertram E. Gardner, born on March 3, 1924 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Bertram was a WWII veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force where he served as a Communications Expert of the Air-Sea Rescue team. He was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls.
Bertram was co-owner of Bucholtz and Gardner Heating and was employed by Gross Plumbing & Heating and Gray Furnace Services in Niagara Falls, NY. Bert's favorite song was "I Did It My Way" and so is the way he lived his life. Bert loved to fish and gamble. Las Vegas was his favorite vacation destiny.
He was predeceased by his former wife of 42 years, Maureen Ivy (Stuart) Gardner; loving father of James E. Gardner (Sue) of Joliet, IL, Cheryl (William) Kochan of Niagara Falls, NY, Trish Gardner of Sanborn, NY, and Robert Gardner (Robert's mother, Teresa Gardner) of Niagara Falls, NY; grandfather of Terry E. Gardner, Shawn (Lana) Gardner, Katie (Derek) McKinnon and Samantha Kochan; brother of the late Frank (late Vivian) Gardner.
