  Niagara Gazette - 11/20/1944 PEKIN N Y NOV 20 -Funeral services for Mrs. Flora E. Allard, 87, who died Friday, were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. L. Pierce, Upper Mountain road. In- terment was in Mountain View cemetery. Mrs. Allard died at the Pierce home after a long period of failing health. She was born in Niagara county and had resided in this civinity almost all her life. Her husband, the late Horace Allard, who died about ten years ago, for many years served as sexton of Mountain View cemetery here. Mrs. Allard was a member of the Pekin Church of Christ and in former years was active in its organiza- tions. Besides the daughter, Mrs. Allard is survived by a sister, Mrs. Helen Phillips, of Portville, N.Y.; three grandchildren, eight great grand- children and four great great grand- children.
