Harold T. Armstrong, 68, of
Main Street, East Randolph,
passed away Friday, Dec. 17,
2010 in Harriot Medical Center
in Erie, PA.
He was bom Dec. 5, 1942 in
Salamanca, the son of the late
Frank C. and Irene G. Pelton
Armstrong.
He, was a 1960 graduate of
Randolph Central School and
also graduated from Jamestown
Community College. He had
retired in 1995 as a New York
State Corrections Officer. In
earlier years he had worked for
the former Randolph Market
Basket, Randolph Register, Watson
Manufacturing, Blodgett
Furniture, Town of Cottage and
as supply pastor in the United
Methodist Ministry.
He was a member ot the Urace
Episcopal Church in Randolph.
Former memberships include the
East Randolph Fire Department,
American Radio Relay League
and the Randolph International
Order of Odd Fellows.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Leila E. Blakeslee,
whom he married July 7, 1962
in Blockville; four sons: Harold
T. Armstrong II of East Randolph,
Kenneth J. Armstrong of
Randolph, Samuel G.
Armstrong of East Randolph and
Christopher L. Armstrong of
Sadsburyville, PA; eight grand
children; two great grandchildren;
two brothers: Donald F.
Armstrong and Charles D.
Armstrong both of Falconer;
two sisters: Shirley Ewer of
Sugar Grove, PA and Marcia L.
Delang of Georgia.
He was preceded in death by a
daughter, Susan L. Armstrong in
1963, and two infant brothers.
A funeral service was held
Sunday, Dec. 19 in the Van-
Rensselaer & Son Funeral
Home. Rev. Thomas Broad officiated.
Burial was in the East
Randolph Cemetery.

Randolph Rescue Squad.
