The double funeral of Superintend
ent Albert S. Allen and his brother
Ralph H. Allen, at the home of their
mother, Mrs. Ann Allen of 202 Fal-
coner street, at 8 o'clock last night
was in charge of Sutherland Lodge,
of which both men were members,
and was largely attended. Rev. Fre-
erick Mittlefehldt officiated. Super-
intendent allen stood high in Masonic
circles. besides being a member of
Sutherland lodge and Tonawanda
chapter, he was associated with Buf-
falo Council Consistory, Shrine and
lake Erie commandery. He was also
a member of the local lodge of Elks.
Members of these organizations were
in attendance. The bodies were tak-
en to Moravia, N.Y., this morning
where services were conducted again
and burial held this afternoon.

Albert S Allen was one of the best
known residents of the Tonawandas.
While he was general superintendent
of the Tonawanda Power company, he
had been acting as general manager
of the company since the serious ill-
ness of Francis Gordon six months
ago. He was 50 years old and a
widower. One son and a daughter survive.
He was a member of Sutherland
lodge No. 880,-F. & A. M
