A very pretty fall wedding was sol-
emnized at St. Mary's of the Cataract
church, Saturday morning, October 11th,
at 9 o'clock, when Miss Grace H Allen,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Allen,
became the bride of John S Brett of
Buffalo, N.Y. The ceremony was per-
formed by the Rev. C. F. Killeen, a
nuptual mass followed, assisted by the
Rev. Father Doherty and REv. Father
Griffin.
The bride was charming in a hun-
ter's green chiffon gown with hat and
shoes to match. She carried a bou-
quet of bronze mums.
Miss Jeannette Allen, sister of the
bride, was bridesmaid and wore a
similar costume of rust chiffon, hat and
shoes to match. Her bouquet was of
vari-colored autumn flowers. The
Gysophilia. John Baum, brother of the
ther, George Brett.
Dr. Howard Smith sang the responses
to the mass and rendered "O Perfect
Love."
A wedding breakfast followed at the
Red Coach Inn. Mr. and Mrs. Brett
motored to Washington.
Pre-nuptial affairs for Mrs. Brett
were a dinner and shower given by
Mrs. W. King and Miss Margaret Hog-
an. Dinner and showed by Miss Ger-
trude McKenna, Mrs. Fred Peuss and
Mrs. J. Considine, Bridge supper and
shower, Mrs. John Powers.
