Clarence R. House, 69, of 1311 Norwood Ave., died
Tuesday (Feb. 8, 1966) at Memorial Hospital after a
short illness. He retired as yardmaster of the Lehigh
Valley Railroad here after working for the line for
53 years. *
Mr. House was born in Niagara
Falls. He served in the
Canadian Mo'unted Rifles,
Royal Canadian Army, in
World War I. He was a member
of the Brotherhood of
Railway Trainmen.
He was husband of the late
Mary Holohan House and
brother of the late Howard
House.
Survivors include his mother.
Mrs. Minnie House, this
city; a brother, Lourn House,
Deland, Fla., and a sister,
Mrs. Joseph (Gertrude) Burns.
Kenmore.
Funeral services will be
conducted at the Gridley Funeral
Home at 2 p.m. Friday
by Rev. William L. Langston
Jr., of Pierce Avenue Presbyterian
Church. Burial will be
in Gate of Heaven Cemetery-
Friends may call' at the funeral
home from 2 to 5 and 7
to 9 p.m.
