  Rochester NY Democrat Chronicle - 5/7/1916 Shortsville, May 7.-The funeral of George Poyneer. who died suddenly in New York. N. Y., at noon on Saturday, will be held from the Shortsville Presbyterian Church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The pastor, the Rev. Donald H. MacKenaie, will officiate, and interment will follow in Brookside cemetery. Shortsvile. Mr. Poyneer was born ia Palmyra forty-three years ago. and during his boyhood was a frequent visitor to this Village, his aunt being the late Mrs. Clara Van de Carr, of Shortsville. Twenty years ago he was married to Miss Jennie Alliger, of Elmira, and for the past ten years they have made their home in Buffalo. Mr. Poyneer was a traveling salesman. He leaves his wife, one son. Robert, and one daughter, Louise, all of Buffalo.
