Bertram Curry, 45, of 2915 Port-
er road,formerly, a well-known amateur
athlete in-this city, died early
today at the Buffalo General hospital
after a short illness.
Funeral services for Mr. Curry
will be .held at his home at 2 p.m.
Saturday. Friends' may call the
home after, 2 p. m., tomorrow.. The
Rev. G. Charles Rowe, .rector of
the Church of the Redeemer, will
officiate at'the services.;-'
.A. native of Ireland, Mr. Curry
had lived in Niagara Falls, for the
last 40 yean. He was a member of
the former Essex baseball and Tiger
