Joseph Dunmire
Age 81, of North Tonawanda, May 20, 2021.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Sharon Dunmire; father of Mark (Stacey) and Steven (Tammy); grandfather of Hannah, Matthew, John, and Joshua; predeceased by siblings Doris and George. Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran, retired after 30 years with the IRS, volunteered for 40 years as treasurer of the Love Canal Medical Fund, and was active at Eastern Hills Church. Calling hours are Thursday, 5/27, 5-8 PM at the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive in North Tonawanda, and on Friday, 5/28, Noon-2 PM at EASTERN HILLS CHURCH, 8445 Greiner Road, Williamsville. Memorial Service at 2 PM on Friday, May 28 at EASTERN HILLS CHURCH. As a cancer survivor, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
