The apparent victim of a heart
attack, William H. Alliss, of 1644
Cleveland avenue, was found dead in
his room at that address late Saturday
afternoon.- A neighbor. Henry
Yngve, who had noticed a light
burning in the Alliss room for two
days, notified owners of the rooming
house, who in turn called Police
Lieutenants Piore Costanzo . and
Norman Wagner. Coroner James
Wm. Heary declared that Alliss had
probably died Thursday night.
Born in this city, Mr. Alliss was
an employe .of the Auto Lite Battery
corporation for 25 years.
Surviving are a brother. Thomas
and two sisters. Miss Sadie E. Alliss
and Mrs. Grace Haseley. all of this
city; another brother, Charles C. of
S t Paul, Minn., and another sister,
Mrs. George Schreiner, of Buffalo
Funeral services will be held this
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the
Rhoney funeral home, with the Rev.
William Saye officiating. Interment
will be in Rlverdale cemetery.
