died Dec. 29 in his home.
He was born in Canastota. He
married Evelyn Wardell in 1940
in Poland.
Besides his wife he leaves two
daughters, Mrs. Harley Turner,
Rome, and Miss Jean Alton,
Town of Russia; a sister, Mrs.
Lynn Fitch, Poland, and three
brothers, Reuben Alton, Poland;
John Alton, Sauquoit, and
George Alton, Newport
The funeral will be at 2
Wednesday from the Autenrith
Funeral Home, Newport Burial
will be this spring in Pine Grove
Cemetery, Poland.
