  Mt. Morris NY Enterprise - 1980 Howard Houghton, 89, of 24 Tempest St., Perry, died Sunday (Dec. 7, 1980) in Wyoming County Community Hospital. Born in Perry, Feb. 13, 1891, he was a son of Clark and Nettle Stowe Houghton. A lifetime resident of this area, he was employed when a young man In the former Tomlinson's Mill, Perry and later operated a farm on Burke Hill Road, Perry for the late Dr. F.C. Clark. He was next employed by the Robeson Cutlery Co., Perry and retired at age 86 from employment with Champion Products Co., Perry. His wife, Bessie Billings Houghton, died , in 1975. Surviving are two sons, Lawrence of Perry and Seward of Geneseo; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
