- LORETTA K. SCHUL, age 89 of Niagara Falls, NY, was called to her heavenly home on May 19, 2022 while at the Niagara Hospice House, Town of Lockport, NY. Born in Prairie, IN, on October 22, 1932; daughter of the late Richard and Maxine (Sutton) Ramseyer. A long time member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Niagara Falls. She was a devoted homemaker, loved baseball, bowling, roller skating, and playing Bingo. Survivors include her loving husband, Leonard "Leo" Schul. They were married June 26, 1954; three children, Dennis (Wendy) Schul of Brea, CA, Marla Schul of Niagara Falls, and Steven (Mary) Schul of Niagara Falls; grandchildren, Sheena (Ted) Weed, Steven (Leah) Schul and Tanya (Scott) Sellers; great-grandchildren, Payton and Parker Sellers; a sister, Sonja Meacham; sister in law, Dolly Schul; special "sister like" cousin, Ann Allen of IN; and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.Loretta was also preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Ramseyer.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Sunday (May 22) from 1-5 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. David Ellis, at 5:00 p.m. following the visitation. Interment will take place in Niagara Falls Memorial Park, on Monday (May 23) at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice, or the St. Jude Foundation.
