MEDINA - Funeral servic-
es will be held tomorrow for
Charles R. Bowman, 90, a for-
mer resident of W. Center St.,
Medina,, who died Wednesday at
St. Mary's Hospital, Reno, Nev.,,
after a short illness.
Mr. Bowman was born in the
Town of Hartland and spent
most of his lifetime in that
area. Before his retirement he
was a carpentry - masonry con-
tractor in Lockport, Newfane,
Barker and Gasport. He was a
member of Hartland Methodist
Church.
For the past 10 months he
had resided with his two daugh-
ters, Mrs.. Leila E. Turner and
Mrs. Charle Folk, both of
Reno.
In addition to his daughters,
he is survived by a sister.
His wife, Mrs. Effie L. Bow-
man, died in June, 1968.
In addition to his daughters
he is survived by a sister, Mrs.
Sadie Johnson of Gasport; two
grandsons, Kenneth Bowman of
Waterport and Melvin Bowman
of Lockport; two granddaugh-
ers, Miss Ruby Ann Bowman
of Lockport and Mrs. Sadie Os-
borne of Reno; seven great-
grandchldren, three great-
great - grandchildren and sev-
eral nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at the
Ross - Burke - Nnobel Funeral
Home, Reno, Nev. Funeral services
will be held at 2.30 p.m.
tomorrow at the Houseman Funeral
Home, 228 P a r k Ave., Medina.
The Rev. H . - B u r t o n Entrekin,
pastor of Medina First
Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in H a r t l a n d Central
Cemetery
