The funeral services of Clarence
Bowman, 38-years-old, Lockport, who
died Saturday night from, an automobile
accident on the Ridge road, was
held yesterday afternoon from the
home of a brother Charles Bowman
of Hartland. He Is survived by his
wife and four brothers. Burial in
Hartland cemetery. Mr. Bowman
when Injured was taken to the home
of S. L. Littlefleld of the Ridge road
and later removed to the home of
Charles Bowman

HARTLAND, Feb. 14.-Clarence
Bowman of Lock port, a native of
Hartland and resident here for many
years, was killed late Saturday when
his automobile struck a tree while
driving on the Million Dollar highway
a few miles east of this place. His
body was found In the front yard of
Frank Bordell, who was not at home
at the time of the accident, and was
carried by passers-by to the home of
Seward Llttlefield. Dr. Mudge of
Johnson Creek was summoned, who
said that death was instantaneous.
Bowman was later taken to the home
of his brother, Charles Bowman, in
Hartland. Funeral services will be
held from the brother's residence
Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
Burial in Hartland Central cemetery.
The victim Is said to have struck
the tree with such force that he was
thrown clear of his sedan, crashing
into another tree in the Bordell yard
six feet above the ground.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs.
Charles Johnson of Lockport and Mrs.
Will Wisner of Ransomvllle, and four
brothers. Charles of Hartland, and
William, Edward and Arthur Bowman
of Lockport.
