  Medina NY Daily Register Journal - 12/5/1979 MILLERS - Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Leah Alvord Pettis of Kenmore who died oh Nov. 26 at the age of 84. She is survived by her husband, Henry W. Pettis and three daughters, Mrs. Ailene Riedell of Kenmore, Mrs. Marcia Jackson, California and Mrs. Barbara Bukowski of Dansville; also a sister, Mrs. Lois Shepherd, Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Medina. Mr. and Mrs. Pettis were residents of Millers many years where they operated a grocery and (unreadable) before moving to Kenmore.
