  Florence Irene Mye (nee Wells), of NorthTonawanda, passed away following a brief illness on December 11, 2015 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Homer J. Mye Jr.; dearest mother of John (Candise), Peter (Kathleen), and Charles (Barbara); loving grandmother of Charles, Andrew, Christian, Sarah, Emily, Julia, and Courtney (Joe) Jukic great grandmother of Peter and Joseph Jukic. Irene was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and never forgot her southern roots. Over the years, she was a dedicated volunteer at the DeGraff Memorial Hospital Pharmacy, North Tonawanda Public Schools PTA and a lifetime member of North Presbyterian Church. A memorial celebrating Irene's life will be held at North Presbyterian Church, 168 Payne Avenue, North Tonawanda on January 9, 2016 at 11AM. Guest register available at frettholdfuneralhome.com
