Nuptial vows were exchanged at 10 o'clock this
morning by Miss Patricia Ann Carlo and Ronald F.
Anastasi in a ceremony in Ascension-Church, North
Tonawanda, followed by a nuptial mass.
The Rev. Francis J. Hunt offi-
dated for the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Benjamin Carlo of 31
Hagen Ave. and the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Anastasi of Elmwood
Ave., North Tonawanda.
White carnations decorated the
main altar and pews and red
roses were placed on the altar of
the Madonna.
The bride's gown of pearl white
silk organza was designed with a
yoke of sequins and p e a r l
trimmed re-embroidered Alencon
lace. Long sleeves were accented
more. She smiles very prettily in
with lace at the shoulders and
wrists and a sweep back fullness
type skirt with cut-out lace at the
front featured a puff bustle back
falling into a chapel train scat-
tered with jeweled lace motifs. A
jeweled queen's crown, imported
from Augustria, held her four tiered
boouffant veil of French silk illu-
sion. She carried a prayer book
covered with a white orchid, ste-
phanotis and ivy.
Miss Anita De Luca, niece of
the bride and maid of honor wore
a floor length gown of white sheer
and two-tone orchid daisy print
over white tulle and taffeta un-
derskirt. Accents were tiny shoul-
der bows, a V-neckline and two-
tone sash caught at the back and
extending into streamers. She
wore a woven hairbraid picture
hat in Bo-peep style, tied under
the chin.
Wearing identical dresses were
the bridesmaids, Miss Carmelita
Anastasi with a yellow daisy motif;
Miss Janet Ginestre, petal
pink, and Miss Joyce Urbano,
blue. They carried cascade bouquets
of carnations dyed to match
their gowns.
Patricia Malone, the bride's
niece was the flower girl
wearing a miniature of the attendants
dresses with tangerine
print and accessories.
Thomas Anastasi, a cousin of
the bridegroom, was the best
man. Raymond Schmacher. Leon
Bourdage and Donald Miller were
ushers and John Anastasi, the
bridegroom;s brother, was the
ring bearer.
The bride's mother wore a
champagne beige silk organza
dress trimmed with borealis-lace
motifs. The dress was designed
with a scoop neckline, flat front
style skirt with fullness at the
back. she wore matching acces-
sories. The bridegroom's mother
was attired in a powder blue lace
and organza dress with matching
accessories. Both wore lavender
orchids.
A dinner in Warren's, Tonawanda,
was followed by a reception
in American Legion Post Home,
Tonawanda.
Mr. and mrs. Anastasi left for
a Florida wedding trip, the bride
wearing a straight beige dress
with matching jacket, straw ac-
cessories and as orchid corsage.
When they return they will make
their home in 578 Schenck St.,
North Tonawanda.
Shower hostesses for the bride
were Mrs. Joseph DeLuca, Mrs.
John Carlo, Mrs. Frank Malone,
Mrs. Donald Bero and Mrs. Lou-
