BOONVILLE - R. Ernest
Andrews, 68, a lifleong
resident of Echo Lake
Road, died at his home on
Saturday, October 10,
1992, after a long illness.
Mr. Andrews was born
on the Andrews Family
Farm on Novemer 14,
1923 where he was des-
tined to spend his entire
life, a son of Albert C. and
Delia M. Briggs Andrews.
He attended the nearby
rural school on potato
Hill. For many years he
and his brother, Raymond,
operated the family farm.
After selling their dairy in
1967, Ernest was em-
ployed by Oneida county
Reforestation Service. He
was later employed as the
engineer at the Village of
Boonville, a landfill. He re-
tired about six years ago.
A Methodist, Mr. Andrews
was also a member of
Boonville Urtel Masonic
Lodge.
Survivors include three
brothers, Homer C.
Andrews and Charles I.
Andrews, both of Boon-
ville, and Raymond G.
Andrews, North Western;
and two sisters, Pearl
Johnson of Frankfort and
Erna Grower, Boonville.
He was predeceased by
three brothers, Howard
Andrews in 1976, J. Orin
Andrews in 1988 and
Fred Andrews in 1991;
and by two sisters, Ida
Forte in 1992 and Mildred
Dude in 1992.
Funeral services were
held on Tuesday, October
13 at 11 a.m. at the
Trainor Funeral Home,
Boonville, where Reverend
William Mudge, pastor of
the Boonville Methodist
Church, officiated. inter-
ment was made in Boon-
ville Cemetery. Calling
hours were on Monday
Octber 12, from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m.

Company Ambulance.
