Andrews, 61, of 8522 Witkop Ave., a fireman for 27 years, died Wednesday in Buffalo General Hospital following a 2-month illness. He was born in this city and was a lifelong resident. He was a captain in the Niagara Falls Fire Department, where he had worked since June 14/1941. He was past president and secretary, of the Uniformed Fire Fighters 'Association No. 714 and v member off the LaSalle Sportsmen's Club. Surviyprs. include his widow, Mary Andrews; two daughters, Miss Patricia L; Andrews, of this city, and Mrs. Joseph (Kathleen) Reid of Washington, D.C.; and a brother, Thomas C. Andrews, this city. Funeral services will be held at the Lane Funeral Home Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Cuthbert MacLean officiating. Burial will be. in Riverdale Cemetery.
