NORTH TONAWANDA —
Carleton R. Andrews, 69, of North Tonawanda, Thursday (March 28, 2013), surrounded by family at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Carleton was born in Niagara Falls on February 13, 1944 to James G. and Evelyn D. (O'Neil) Andrews. Carleton was a loving husband, father and grandfather, a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Army Infantry, former employee of Smurfit-Stone Container Corp., avid New York Yankees fan, and most of all, he enjoyed his spending time with his grandchildren.
Carleton is survived by his loving wife, Leigh R. (Peters) Andrews; father of Kelly (Jason) Francis, Daniel P., and Lindsey (Hector) Acevedo; brother of Shirley Markuson, James (Gloria), Gerald (Connie), and the late Diane (Stanley) Kasperzak; grandfather of Kacey, Jason, and Madison Francis, Nataleigh, and Nevaeh Acevedo. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM from St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery.
