A bouquet of white carnations
was presented before the altar of
the Blessed Virgin Mary by Miss
Joan Jennie Andrews before her
marriage to William Henry Malaney
III this morning (July 6.
1957) at 10 o'clock at Sacred
Heart Church. The Rev. Francis
Gardner performed the double-
ring ceremony before an altar
decorated with white pompons.
The bride, who is the'daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. William T.
Andrews, Pierce Ave., was given
in marriage by her father to the
son of William H. Malaney Jr.,
Read Ave.
A floor-length gown of hand
clipped Chantilly lace and filmy
tulle was the choice of the bride.
It was designed with panels of
filmy tulle in the front and back
of the full skirt. Pearls and
sequins enhanced the tiny- flowers
which decorated the neckline,
A matching lace crown
trimmed with seed pearls held
her veil of illusion. She carried
a cascade bouquet of white roses
with lily of the valley and an
orchid.
Mrs. Eugene Casey, sister of
the bridegroom, was matron of
honor. She was attired in a
floor-length pink nylon sheer
over net gown, fashioned with
a strapless bodice and enhanced
with a stole. She wore a matching
headpiece and carried a cascade
bouquet of white carnations
and pink and blue roses.
Miss Shirley Andrews, sister
of the bride, and Miss Suzanne
Stellmacher, as bridesmaids,
were gowned in' dresses styled
like the honor attendant's in
blue. Miss Diane Milliman, cousin
of the bride, as junior bridesmaid
was attired similarly to the
honor attendant. Miss Carol
Ann Patrick, cousin of the bride,
was flower girl.
Eugene James Casey, brotherin-
law of the bridegroom, was
best man. Jerry Malaney, brother
of the bridegroom, and
Joseph H. Andrews, brother of
the bride, were ushers.
A wedding breakfast and dinner
were served at the home of
the bride's parents and a reception
will be held this evening
at Three Corners Restaurant.
The mother of the bride will
welcome her guests attired in a
blue silk dress with a gored skirt
and scoop neckline. She will
wear a corsage of pink and white
carnations and roses.
The newlyweds will make
their future home at 1540 Pierce
Ave.

William T. Andrews, 61, of
842 Pierce Ave. died Sunday
(March 12, 1972) at his home
after suffering an apparent
heart attack.
He was born in the Town of
Pendleton and lived here for
the past 32 years. He was a
former employe of the International
Railway Corp. and
later worked for the Titanium
Alloy Manufacturing Division
of the National Lead Co.,
retiring in 1963.
He is survived by his wife,
Veronica; two daughters. Mrs. -
William H. (Joan) Mallaney,
this city and Mrs. Theodore L.
(Shirley) Wirth, also of this
city; three sons. Joseph
Andrews, John Andrews, both
of this city, and Sheriff's
Deputy Sgt. Roger W. Andrews.
of the Town of Wheatfield.
Eleven grandchildren also
survive.
Other survivors include' two
brothers Harry R. Andrews
and Harold Andrews and four
sisters, Edith Andrews, Mrs.
Henry Seifert, Mrs. Charles
Kramer, and Mrs. Harold
Kagels, all of Lockport.
Funeral services will be held
at the Otto Hedanz Funeral
Home Wednesday at 11 a.m.
The Rev. Roger E.Purdy will.
officiate. Burial will be
private.
Friends may call at the
funeral home today from 7
p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday
from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
to 9 p.m. Contributions t the
Niagara County Heart Fund
will be acceptable as tribute.
