  Rome NY Daily Sentinel - 10/11/1955 ONEIDA - Mrs. Elizabeth D Angel, 85, of 240 Liberty St., wife of George Angel, died at her home yesterday after a long illness. She was the mother-in-law of Police Chief J. A. Murphy. Mrs. Angel was born in Oneida, June 6, 1870, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Bischoff. She was married to Mr. Angel Nov. 23, 1887 in Oneida. She was a mem- ber of the F i r s t Presbyterian Church. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Frank Angel, Syracuse; two daughters, Mrs. James A. Murphy, and Mrs. Margaret Richardson, both of Oneida; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
