Camden, Nov. 25.-At 10:30
o'clock on the morning of Thanksgiving
day, at the rectory of St.
John's Church, took place the marriage
of Miss Marian C. Harrington,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert
C. Harrington, of Washington St.,
and Alexander A. Bowman, only
son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Bowman
of Rome, the Rev. John L. Powers
officiating. The attending couple
were Miss Florence Bowman of
Rome, sister of the groom, and
Ernest Ludlow of Taberg. The
bride was gowned in navy blue
crepe trimmed with velvet and the
bridesmaid was similarly attired.
Only the immediate relatives were
present at the ceremony, immediately
after the ceremony a Thanksgiving
dinner was served at the
home of the bride's parents. After
a wedding trip to Vermont, the
young couple will be at the home
of the bride's parents for a short
time before taking up their residence
in Rome.
The bride has been popular saleslady
in the dry goods store of C.
A. & A.-C. Phelps. The bridegroom
is in the employ of the
Rome Hardware and Implement
Co. Many friends extend best
wishes and congratulations. A few
days before the wedding a variety
shower was given In honor of the
bride by Mrs. Edward Harrington.
