  Rome NY Daily Sentinel - 5/4/1942 Charles Nelson, Cold Springs on the Hudson, husband of the former K. Irene Bowman, this city, died today at a New York City hospital following an operation, Mr. Nelson married Miss Bowman at Iowa City, where she attended Iowa State College. Besides his wife, who survives, there is a son, Steven, aged 10, and a daughter, Caroline, aged 7. There are also several brothers and sisters.
