Ann Agnes (Nancy) O'Neill, nineyear-
old daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
John R. O'Neill, of 2484 Willow avenue,
died late yesterday afternoon
in Memorial hospital of injuries
which she suffered Wednesday afternoon
in a traffic accident at Hyde
Park boulevard and Linwood avenue-
Police said that the child was
struck by an automobile driven by
Chester Wegener, 1041 Grove avenue
. She suffered a fracture of
the skull and internal injuries. Her
death is the sixteenth In this city
thus far this year. Wegener reported
that the child ran against
the left rear fender of his car. She
was thrown into the path of another
automobile, driven by Paul
Wustrack, 1635 Cleveland avenue,
but he claimed that he stopped his
car before It reached her.
Besides her parents, the child is
survived by her grandmother, Mrs.
Alexander Argy, of 510 Memorial
parkway. A younger brother died
several months ago. Funeral services
will be held Monday morning
at 8:30 o'clock In the home and at
9 o'clock in the Church of the Sacred
Heart, South avenue and Eleventh
street
