PLANS AUTUMN NUPTIALS-Mrs. Joseph Bolents,
Buffalo Ave., announces the betrothal of her
daughter, Miss DeSales M. Bolents, to Raymond J.
Cronin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Cronin, 84th St.
Miss Bolents, daughter of the late Mr. Bolents,
is a graduate of LaSalle High School. Mr. Cronin,
a graduate of Bishop Duffy High School and Erie
County Technical Institute, Buffalo, is attending the
University of Buffalo, where he is majoring in
electrical engineering. A September wedding is
planned.

(Sept. 5, 1950) when
Miss DeSales Mae Bolents
became the bride of Raymond
Joseph Cronin.

uncle of the bridegroom,
officiated before an altar
banked with white gladioli,
white mums and white pom-
pons,
The bride is the daughter
of Mrs. Joseph G. Bolents,
77th St, and the late Mr.
Bolents. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin
J. Cronin, 84th St., are
the parents of the bridegroom.

GIVEN IN MARRIAGE by
her brother, William G. Bolents,
the bride wore a gown
of Chantilly lace and tulle,
fashioned with a portrait
neckline, short sleeves and a
fitted bodice. A clip of tulle
leaves held her fingertip.
Veil She carried a colonial
bouquet of white carnations
-and lilies of the valley.
Mrs. Wayne Bidwell was
matron of honor for her sister,
wearing a ballerina-length
gown of cotillion blue.
She wore a powder blue leaf
clip headpiece and carried a
colonial bouquet of blue car
nations.
Donald Cronin, brother of
the bridegroom, was best
man. Edward Flannagan
served al usher.
FOR THE AFTERNOON
reception for 200 guests at
St. Mary's Hall, the mother
of the bride wore a gown of
French blue silk with a
matching hat and a corsage
of white carnations.
The mother of the bride-
groom chose a dress of rose
lace over taffeta, and match-
ing hat Her corsage was
also white carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Cronin left
for a motor trip to New York
City, Washington, D. C., and
Philadelphia, Pa.
