Harter, Peter L. Thiele, Penny M. Hawthorne and the late James F. Thiele; loving grandmother of Jennifer (Aaron) Harter, Alison Gorgone, Melanie Garlock, Felicity Rusnak and Emily Thiele; great-grandmother to Hollie, Michael, Adam, Sydney, Jonah, Brayden, Hannah, Nolan and Evan; great-great grandmother to Kailey, Charlee, Adam, Maddy and Henry. Lillian was a graduate of SUNY Buffalo and a lifelong organist and soloist. She was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. Visitation will be WEDNESDAY from 4 to 8 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 307 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda. Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Acacia Park Cemetery, 4215 Tonawanda Creek Rd., Rev. Dr. A.W. Moldenhauer officiating.
