  Peter L. Thiele Of North Tonawanda, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday September 2, 2020. Born in North Tonawanda, May 7, 1949 he was the son of the late James and Lillian ( nee Dunkel) Thiele. Loving father of Emily Gonas and her husband Josh Gonas, new grandfather of Gracelyn Rey Gonas. Peter is survived by his older sister, Linda Harter, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents Peter is predeceased by his brother James and his sister Penelope. An animal lover and avid outdoors-man, he also enjoyed long walks with his dog, 5K races and spending time with those he loved. Family and friends may call on Friday September 11, 2020 from 3 PM to 5 PM in the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 MEADOW DRIVE in North Tonawanda, Where Services will follow at 5 PM. Private Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
