  Medina NY Tribune - 12/7/1944 Fred E. Bane, 59, was found dead Sunday afternoon in the house in Lyndonville where be lived alone, by neighbors who investigated when they had not seen him as usual. Coroner David Eraser expressed the belief that he had been dead about two days. He was a lifelong resident of Lyndonville.
