- Frank Arnone, 83, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on July 2, 2024 at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Steven and Augustine (Mancuso) Arnone.
Frank was a 1959 graduate of Trott Vocational High School. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1960 until his honorable discharge in 1962. Frank was employed as a Machinist at Union Carbide Corporation in Niagara Falls, NY for 23 years. He later worked at Cascade Paper Company as a Winder for 5 years, and most recently was employed in Maintenance at The First Assembly of God Church in Lewiston, NY for 15 years until his retirement in 2020. Frank was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. More than anything else, Frank centered his life around his family.
Frank is survived by his son, Gregory F. Arnone; his former wife, Margaret Martino; his sister, Jeanette Criminisi; his nieces and nephews, Maryann (Sal) Gullo, Steve (Tammy) Arnone, Joe (Karen) Dixson, Edwin ‘Barry’ Dixson, Cherie Dixson, and Tina (Michael) Baker, as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Anthony (late Janice) Arnone, and his niece, Debbie (Allen) Tjaden.
Visitation be held on Tuesday, July 9 from 5 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 7 PM. Private interment with Military Honors in St. Joseph’s Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
