Carl F. Reisig, former general
supervisor of Niagara Mohawk
Power Corp., died Monday
(July 1, 1968) in Memorial
-Hospital. He was 72.
Mr. Reisig, of 9906 Cayuga
Drive, retired from Niagara
Mohawk in 1959 after 35 years
with tlie company. Born in Pit-
tsburgh, Pa., he was a resident
of Niagara Falls for 45 years.
He was a World War 1
veteran and a member of
LaSalle American Legion Post
1142. He also belonged to the
Retired Men's Club, the
Institute of Electrical Engineers
Inc.. the Lutheran Layman's
League, and the 25 Year Club
of Niagara Mohawk.
Mr. Reisig is survived by his
wife, Dorothy; a son, Carl, both
of Niagara Falls; and four
daughters, Mrs: Howard (Ruth)
Binkley. North Tonawanda,
Mrs. Harry ( J e a n n e t t e)
Schisler, Syracuse, Mrs. Kenneth
(Carol) Gensel. Sanborn
and Mrs. Joel (Dorothy) Keu,
Niagara Falls.
Mr. Reisig is also survived
by two brothers, Edwin and
Leonard Reisig in Buffalo, and
four .sisters,. Mrs. Florence
Ganschou, Springville;. M r s .
Elsa Ganschou and Mrs. Esther
Luce of Buffalo: and Mrs. Ruth
Rogosch, Cleveland, Ohio: 18
grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
Funeral services will be held
Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grace
Lutheran Church. The Rev. A.
W. Moldenhauer of St. Mathews
Church in North Tonawanda
will officiate. Interment will
be in St. Mathew's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Lane
Funeral Home from 2 to 5 p;m.
and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials may
be made to Grace Lutheran
Church, the family said
