NIAGARA FALLS — Stephen J. Crewe, age 57, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Residence in Lewiston, after a long illness. Steve was born on January 27, 1955 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Howard R. and Virginia M. (Guard) Crewe.
He was a 1974 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School and had worked in Maintenance at the land fill for Modern Disposal in Model City, NY. He enjoyed his hobbies of woodworking, astrology and reading the Farmer's Almanac.
He is survived by his children, Eric Matthew, Jennifer Marie, and Kenneth Michael; two brothers, Robert (Tina) Crewe of Youngstown and Bruce (Dianne) Crewe, MD of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Scott H., Kaylee, Robert, Jr. and Alyssa Crewe.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 16th at 10:00 AM in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, with the Rev. Michael Zuffoletto officiating. There will be no prior visitation. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., WNY Chapter, 315 Alberta Dr., Amherst, NY 14226. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston.
