Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bach of 71
Hagen Ave. announce the engagement
of their daughter, Betty Jane,
to Sherwood Tremble, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Schultz of 373
Miller St. The wedding will take
place in the Fall.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bach of
71 Hagen Ave. announce the marriage
of their daughter, Betty
Jane, to Sherwood Tremble, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schultz of
Miller St. on Nov. 20 in St. Peters
American Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Robert F. Hein officiated
in the 7 p.m. candlelight
ceremony. Baskets and vases of
white pompons and chrysanthemums
decorated the chancel of
the church.
The bride wore a colonial style
gown of white brocaded satin with
basque bodice, long sleeves and
bouffant skirt with train. The scalloped
neckline was outlined with
silver beads. She wore a double
tier scalloped fingertip veil of il-
lusion arranged with orange blos-
soms and carried a white prayer
book with an orchid.
The brides attendants, Mrs.
Howard Ensminger, her sister,
matron-of-honor; Elaine Hils and
Ruth Stolzenburg, bridesmaids
wore gowns of blue velveteen with
full skirts, double bustle backs,
and cap sleeves. They wore match-
ing mitts and carried Colonial
bouquest of pink roses.
T h e bridegroom's attendants
were Carlton Vorphal, best man;
Melvin Vorphal and John Hils,
ushers.
The bride's mother wore royal
blue with black accessories and
the bridegroom's mother chose a
dress of lightning blue with black
accessories. Both wore corsages of
yellow roses.
A reception was held in the
Sweeney Hose Co. for 450 guests.
Tables were decorated with lace
cloths and a tiered cake centered
the bride's table.
The couple left for an Eastern
trip, the bride wearing a gray gabardine
suit with burgundy accessories,
fur top coat and orchid corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Tremble are at
home in 171 Franklin St.
Showers for the bride were given
by Mrs. Albert Schultz, Mrs.
Francis Tremble, Mrs. Harold
Tremble and Mrs. Raymond Wittkopp;
Miss Dorothy Cooke and
Miss Ruth Stolzenburg; Mrs. Fred
Vorphal, Mrs. Amanda Thursam,
Mrs. Irwin Hils, Miss Elaine Hils;
Mrs. Howard Ensminger and Mrs.
Albert Krueger.
