71 Hagen avenue, North Tonawanda,
announce the engagement
of their daughter, Audrey L. to
Howard Ensminger, son of Mrs.
Harvey Ensminger of 31 Elmwood
Park, Tonawanda. The wedding

In a candlelight service held
September 14 in St. Peters Lutheran
Church, Miss Audrey Louise
Bach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Edward Charles Bach of 71 Hagen
tvenue, became the bride of Howard
Earl Ensminger of 31 Elmwood
Park, Tonawanda. The Rev.
Robert F. Hein officiated before
the altar which was banked with
palms, fern and white gladioli
The bride wore a .colonial
itvled gown of white brocade
with basque bodice, long pointed
sleeves and bouffant skirt with
long train. The scalloped shadow
neckline wps outlined in silver
beads. She wore a doubled tier
icalloped finger tip veil of illusion
arranged with orange bloslomi
and carried a white Prayer
Book with cascade of gardenias.
Attending her sister at maid of
newer was Miss Betty Bach wearbag
a gown of lime green velveteen
with three quarter length
sleeves, sweetheart neckline and
full skirt The bridesmaids. Miss
Marjorie Allan, Miss Elaine Hils,
and Mrs. Robert Hadden wore
gowns of fuschia velveteen. All
carried bouquets of gladioli "to
harmonize with their gowns. Sallie
Ann and Barbara Jean Bach,
sisters of the bride, as flower
girls, wore white nylon eyelet
frocks and carried colonial bouquets
of gladioli.
Wesley Ensminger attended his
brother as best man, and the ushers
ware Richard Heller, James
Soldwisch, cousin of the bridegroom,
and Robert Hadden.
Mrs. Bach, mother of the bride
chose a black crepe dress trimmed
with aqua and black accessories.
The bridegroom's mother
also wore black, trimmed with
touches of gold and black accessories.
Both had corsages of gardenias
and roses.
Over four hundred guests attended
a reception for the couple
Refreshments were served from a
buffet table covered with lace
cloth and centered with a floral
arrangement and tall tapers. A
four tiered wedding cake was
served. Out of town guests were
from Buffalo. Dunkirk, Kenmore,
Lockport and West Valley, N. Y.
For her wedding trip to the
New England States and the Adirondacks
the bride wore a. brown
gaberdine suit with brown and
white accessories and a gardenia
corsage. She wore a mother of
pearl chatelaine the gift of the
bridegroom.
Mr and Mrs. Ensminger are
making their home in 31 Elm wood
