Born in Buflalo he had lived here since childhood He was a member of Local. No. 7. licensed Tuamen'.s Protective association. and the Marine Engineers Benefit, association of Buffalo. He had been an engineer on the Great Lakes most of his life until he retired a number of vears ago. Mr Bacon is survived by his wife. Mis Josephine Bacon two sons. William N and George A Bacon. of this city a daughter. Josephine C Baron at home: eight grandchiidren two brothers. Morton W. of this city and Benjamin, of Buffalo. one .sister Eva Bacon, of this city. Last rites will be held Thursdav at 10 a m from the home and at 10 30 a m at .St Francis church. The Rt Rev Msgr John A Weismantle will officiate Interment will be in Mt Olivet cemetery.
