  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 11/7/1963 BACON - Josephine C. Bacon, 71, of 183 Kohler St., Tonawanda, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Tonawanda, she was employed by the former Spillman Engineering Corp. more than 25 years. She is survived by two brothers, William G. and George A. Bacon, both of Tonawanda, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St Francis of Assisi Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Altar Society, Bishop's Committee, Ladies of Charity and the Kenmore Mercy Hospital Guild. Friends may call at Hamp Funeral Home Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where prayers will be said at 8:30 Saturday morning, followed by a Requiem High Mass in St Francis of Assisi Church at 9 am. The Rev. Wilber Vaeger will officiate. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
