Mrs. John Dempsey announce the
engagement of their daughter, Mobel
K., to Howard M. Baer, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Baer, of Mlddleport. The
msrrlage will take place to the near
future.

APPLETON. Nov. 23-A very pretty
home wedding took place Saturday at
4 o'clock at the Dempsey home where
Mabel Elisabeth, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John Dempsey. and Howard
Baer. son of Mr. and Mrs Fred
Baer. of Middleport. were united in
marriage. .
There were 22 guests present, mem-
bers of the Immediate families.
Rev. Charlie Sicard. pastor of the
road Wesleyan Methodist church offi-
ciated. The bride was attired in a gown
of amethyst crepe and was attended
by her twin sister. Mildred, who wore
a gown of brown crepe with white
satin trim. The groom was attended by
his brother-in-law. Bryon Human of
Niagara Falls. .
The guests included Mr and Mrs.
Frank Baer and daughter, Marian,
Middleport. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Has-
tings of New Kensington. Pa., Mr.
and Mrs. Bryon Human of Niagara
Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dempsey
and son. James, ot Buffalo, and
Gertrude Lockport and daughter, Ma-
bel. of Olcott Following a wedding
supper Mr. and Mrs. Baer left for
short wedding trip
