  Niagara Gazette - 8/18/1954 Funeral services will be held Saturday, for Mrs. Mary Monko, 3012 Monroe Ave., who died last night in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness. A native of Czechoslovakia, she was a resident of this city for 42 years and was the widow of Martin Monko. Mrs. Monko was a member of the Ladies Sodality and Society, St. Mary's Greek Catholic Church; the Polish Roman Catholic Union and St. Hedwig's Society. During World War II, she was employed at International Graphite and Electrode Co. for about 2-1/2 years. She is survived by'six daughters, Mrs. Sophie Beczkowski, Mrs. Helen Schram, Mrs. Margaret Polewicz, Mrs. Susan Kapelka and Mrs. Josephine Guzdek. all of this city, and Mrs. Anna Tomaka, Lackawanna. Two sons. John and Michael Monko; a brother, Andrew Prokop, Beaverdale, Pa.; 32 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren also survive. The services will be held at the Zajac Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and at St. Mary's Greek Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will
