John Charles Beczkowski. 59, of 3014 Moneroe Ave
died today (Nov. 28, 1962) in Memorial Hospital after a
short illness.
He was born In Poland but
was brought here as a child.
He lived in this city for 50
years. He was an employe of
the Certainteed Products Co.
for 38 years and for five years
prior to his illness he was a
guard at the Olin Mathieson
Chemical Co.
Mr. Beczkowski was a mem-
ber of the Star of Freedom
Society, Polski National Alli-
ance Group No. 3005, and the
Holy Trinity Society. Polish
Roman Catholic Union Group
No. 712. He was a member of
St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman
Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife. Soph.
ie; two sons. John S. Beczkowski.
of this ci, and Matty, and Mat-
thew M. Beczkowski, of Oak-
land, Calif.; one daughter,
Pauline J. Beczkowski, of this
city; and one brother, Joseph
Beczkowski, of this city. Also
surviving are six grandchil-
dren.
Funeral services will be
held Saturday (Dec. 1, 1962) at
19L39 a.m. at the Zajac Funeral
Home, with a Selemn Requiem
High Mass at St. Stanislaud
Kostka Roman Catholic
Church at 11 a.m. Interment
will be in the Gate of Heaven
Cemetery.
Recitation of the Rosary
will take place Friday at 8
p.m. at the funeral home.
