  Niagara Gazette - 12/31/1962 SANBORN-J o h n Murray Bagwell, 74, of Townline Road, died at his h o m e Saturday (Dee. 29, 1962) after a lengthy Illness. He was born March'8, 1888, In the Town of Cambria, the son of Charles T. and Salena Moyer Bagwell. He had resided throughout hia life on the farm formerly owned by his father, which he had operated- for many years. In the last 20 years, Mr. Bagwell developed the property into a thriving nursery. A son, Robert, haa been associated with his father in the nursery business. Mr. Bagwell Is survived also by two other sons, Donald of Albany and R i c h a r d of P/hoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Marjorie, also of Phoenix; and a- sister, Mrs. W i l l i am O'Laughlin, of Sanborn. In deference to Mr. Bagwell's wishes, private funeral services were conducted at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home Inc., Rev. Benson Benton of S a n b o r n Methodist Church officiating. The family said that memorial contributions 'may be made" to the charity of the donor's choice.
