NIAGARA FALLS — JoAnne F. Sander, age 66, formerly of the Town of Cambria, on Friday, May 4, 2012 in the Niagara Rehabilitation and Health Center in Niagara Falls, NY. JoAnne was born on August 13, 1945 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Sidney and Doris (Burleigh) Warrant. On September 28, 1963, she married Gary F. Sander in Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls. Gary predeceased her in 1988.
She is survived by her daughters, Jodi Grierson (Tim Huether), Kelly (Patrick) Guthrie, Dawn (Rodney) Siegmann and Heidi (Dan) Shively; two brothers, Donnelly (Marjorie) Warrant and John "Jack" (Lucille) Warrant; five granddaughters, three grandsons, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers.
Funeral services will be held graveside on Wednesday, May 9th at 11:00 AM in Acacia Park Cemetery, 4215 N. Tonawanda Creek Rd., Town of Pendleton, with the Rev. Thomas Mason officiating. There will be no prior visitation. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, 8330 Ward Parkway, Suite 510, Kansas, MO 64114-2000 or to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston.
