Carol Binkley Rowles passed away peacefully at home in Fresno, CA on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was born February 27, 1937 to Myrtle and Ralph Binkley in Niagara Falls, NY, where she attended Pacific Avenue Elementary and LaSalle High School. Carol devoted her life to her family and moved with them to Fresno in 1977. She was strong, resourceful, warm and funny! In addition to spending time with her children and grandchildren, Carol loved to restore and improve homes she lived in and to find bargains at yard sales. She will be missed by her loving family and many friends, but always remembered with a smile. Carol was predeceased by her parents; sons, Michael, Willard Dell (Judy) and sister, Marilyn Scolase (Louis). She is survived by sons, William (Anne), Robert, Randall (Trea) and a daughter, Karey (James) Tobias, all living in California; as well as son, Ronald (Susan) in Western NY. She was proud of her grandchildren: William Rowles, Jr. (Melissa), Sarah and Sarina Moreno, Shaney Palmerin, Salene, James and Steven Tobias, Jamie and Shannon Rowles, Ronnie Rowles and Kaleigh and Kendra Kazial. Four sisters still live in Western NY: Marjorie Say (Harold), Judith Turco, Eldeen Jacus (Louis) and Susan Cruickshank (George). Her brother, William Sexton (Cathie) resides in California.
