LOCKPORT, Jan. 22.-A resident
of this city for 50 years, Mrs.
Helen E. Rose, 76, widow of William
H. Rose, died yesterday at her
home, 31 Elmwood Ave. She had
been in failing health for two
years.
Born at Hartland, Mn. Rose
was the daughter of Henry and
Phoebe Seaman Bailey. She came
to Lockport after her marriage and
lived in the same house for 50
years. She was a member of Lockport
Chapter 73, OES, and Myrtle
Rcbekah Lodge 84, IOOF.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Harold LeValley; one son, Donald
L. Rose, both of' this city; two
stepdaughten, Mrs. William Collopy,
this city, and Mrs. George
Harrold, Lyndonville; one stepson,
Duette W. Rose, in California, and
two brothers, Edson Bailey, Medina,
and Benjamin H. Bailey, Newfane.
Services will be held Monday
at 2 p.m. at the Kennedy Funeral
Home with interment in Hartland
Central Cemetery,
