The engagement of Miss Diane
Cornelia Baird to George Leon
Minsterman is made known by
her parents. Mr. and Mrs. John
M. Baird. Niagara Ave. The
future bride is employed by the
law firm of Hille and Kahl and
is also attending Millard Fillmore
College at the University of Buffalo.
Her fiance, the son of Mrs.
Hazel O. Krueger. Forest Ave,
attends Niagara University. He
served two years- in the U. S.
Army. A spiing wedding is planned.

Escorted to the altar of Sacred Heart Church by her
father, Miss Diane Cornelia Baird became the bride of George
Leon Minsterman, this morning
(June 16, 1956) at 11 o'clock.
The Rev. Francis Schwartz officiated
for the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John M. Baird, Niagara
Ave., and the son of Mrs. Hazel
O. Krueger, Forest Ave., and
George Minsterman, Fort Erie,
Ont. Miss Angela Dyczkowski
was organist, and Miss Rita Mc
Intyre was soloist at the double-
ring ceremony.
Wearing a strand of pearls as
her only jewelry, the bride was
attired in a peau de soie gown
with a Belgian lace bodice reembroidered
with pearls and sequins,
and a chapel-length train.
A matching lace cap trimmed in
seed pearls held a finger-tiplength
veil and she carried a
cascade bouquet of Fleur De
Mure and lilies-of-the-valley.
Mrs. Karl Stender, Eden, was
matron of honor, and bridal attendants
were Mrs. Raymond
Spear, and Miss Mary Capille,
Atlantic City, N. J. Martha
Wenke, York, Pa., was junior
bridesmaid. They wore matching
hats with their ballerina-length
gowns in shades of mint green,
coral, aqua and French blue. Candice
Wenke, York, was flower girl,
in floral patterned organdy.
Richard Duthe was his brother's
best man, and ushers were
Royal Wenke, York; Richard
Berger, Rochester, and Albert
Stockwell. Ring bearer was William
Baird, brother of the bride.
After a trip to New York
City and Bermuda for 10 days.
Mr. and Mrs. Minsterman will
be at home at the Stratford
Arms Apts.
