  Niagara Gazette - 11/19/1971 NORTH TONAWANDA - Robert B. Shaffer, 78, of 58 Winter St., died Thursday (Nov. 18, 1971) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Surviving are his widow, the former Annie Anderson; six daughters, Mrs. Alphonse Bajorek of this city, Mrs. Floyd Meale, Mrs. Edith Johnpiere, Mrs. Grace Smith and*Mrs. Leo Burleigh, all of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Thomas Bateman of Wilson; two sons, Carl Anderson of Niagara Falls and James Anderson of LaGrangesville, N.Y., and 24 grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Fretthold Funeral Home, with the Rev. Matthew Pushkar officiating. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
