- Julia H. (Bak) Mruz 92 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born in Buffalo, NY on September 20, 1922 she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Osika) Bak. Julia was a member of the former St. Georges RC Church and a current member of Divine Mercy Parish. Julia will be sadly missed by family and friends. All who knew her will especially miss her chocolate chip fruit cookies.She is survived by one daughter, Theresa(David) Wykoff of Reno, NV; granddaughter, Rebecca(David) Littman and grandson Robert Wykoff ; great-grandchildren , Ryleigh and Justin Littman; sister Clara Rogala of Niagara Falls, NY; Nieces Rita(Lauren) Coleman of Lockport, NY and Melanie(Owen) Bricca of Niagara Falls, NY and nephew Michael(Sandy)Bak. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Walter Mruz and brother Stephen Bak.Friends may call Monday, April 6th from 11am-12:30pm at Zajac Funeral Home Inc., 319 24th Street, cor of Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 1:00 pm at Divine Mercy Parish, 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Burial following in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
