Carl B. Schumacher, 53, a former
resident of this city, died today at
the home of a relative in Ransomville,
where he was spending his
vacation.
A native of Niagara Falls, he left
this city six years ago and moved
to Massena. He was employed as a
foreman by the Aluminum Company
of America."
Mr. Schumacher was a member
of Niagara "River Lodge No. 785,
F. anti A. M. The lodge will hold
a memorial service for him Monday
at 7 p. m., at the Gridley Funeral
Home.
Funeral services will be held at
the funeral home Tuesday at 11
a. m., the Rev. Arthur H. Schmoycr
officiating. Burial will be in Riverdale
Cemetery.
Mr. Schumacher is survived by
his wife, Mrs. Beulah Schumacher,
a daughter, Lois W. Schumacher,
West Hartford, Conn.; his mother
Mis. Margaret Schumacher, of Los
Angeles; and a brother, Howard
Schumacher; of San Clemente,
Calif.
