  Notes	Watertown NY Daily Times - 11/21/1928 Alexandria Bay. Nov. 21. A var iety shower was given by Mrs. Anne Shangraw in the St. James hotel Monday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. John Dobbins who were married in Redwood Nov. 10. Among the many gifts presented them was a complete chest of silver by intimate friends of Mr. Dobbins. Cards were played in the evening. Elinor Bailey and Lloyd Sampson holding high scores. The consolation prizes went to Mrs. Louis Ritter and Joe Kerr.

  Niagara Gazette - 9/24/1932 Funeral services for John Baker, 70, were held at 2.30 p. m., Friday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert E. Leonard, of Somerset. The Rev. Ern- nest F. Scott, pastor of Somerset Union E.church, officiated. Burial was at Somerset cemetery. Mr. Baker died on Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, a few days after being brought. from a Buffalo hospltaL He had been in failing health:for several months. He was born in Newfane, but had spent most his life in Somerset. He is survived by two sons, and three daughters, Cecil and Clyde Baker. Mrs. A.E. Leonard, Somerset, Mrs. William Shepard of Alexandria and Mrs. Viv- ian Dobbins of Vermont; two brothers and one slater, William of Somerset and Joseph of Lockport, Mrs. Edward Preston of Barker.
